I was forced to hire a car out of NYC to bring me to my colonoscopy appointment because I couldn't find anyone to bring me to the appointment and you're not allowed to drive yourself. I was charged over $600 by this company because the driver had to sit and wait for 5 hours until the procedure was done. After all this, I was told by the doctor that he 'couldn't see anything because of stool in my bowels'. I wonder how this is possible given the fact that the only thing coming out of my backside was yellow liquid after being on the toilet ALL NIGHT LONG!!! They told me it was because I ate 3 tablespoons of oatmeal 5 HOURS BEFORE I had the procedure. You're supposed to stop solid food the day before. In what universe is oatmeal considered a 'solid food'? If I can put my finger through it, it isn't solid food!!!
