Unprofessional office manager
I verified my insurance eligibility before my appointment. Upon checking in, there was a sign on the window stating my insurance was not accepted. I saw the doctor in August of 2024 and the insurance was accepted. I was told at that time he was not in network as well, but he actually was. The billing is through Hackensack Meridian, which is an in network provider. According to the office staff, the billing has not changed in nine years. The office manager seemed irritated that I asked to speak with her. She came out in the waiting room to speak to me very defensive & argumentative. Before I could even say anything, she stated that I had horrible insurance, (review guidelines won't allow me use the offensive language she actually used) and needed to get away from them. Instead of working to fix the issue, she places a blanket sign stating the insurance is not accepted so she doesn't have to do her job. They could care less that they lost a patient, but I'm happier going elsewhere.
