Englewood Health Physician Network - Pain Medicine at Englewood

The reviews pretty much tell the story. Dr. Park is highly knowledgeable and I respected his diagnosis. But, his manner with me and my mother (who has dementia, but clearly communicates her pain problems) was shockingly dismissive and insulting. I've never heard anything like his nonstop accusations from any medical provider. Things like how I was changing my story and lying about meds, when I couldn't tell him anything because he never let me finish a sentence. I guess he assumed we were drug seeking, when I actually wanted the exact opposite (an injection to stop the pain), with meds as a bridge so my poor mom wouldn't have to suffer. To top it all off, he launched a tiff between him and our primary care physician regarding whose job it was to write the pain med prescriptions. Anyway, I made the mistake of calling to explain that my mother's pain wasn't controlled by the med he prescribed and asked for other options, and he ended up firing us. Probably just as well.
