AVOID- DR. NOVOTNY HAS DESTROYED THE PRACTICE. I had been going to the same mental health clinic in Manchester, New Hampshire for 16+ years, from age 14/15. I've had maybe three or four doctors through that clinic before Dr. Novotny. All of them were wonderful and understanding people who hhelped me enormously over the years. Then my previous psychiatrist left the clinic and Novotny joined the practice. I have never been so attacked by a mental health professional. The very first appointment with her, she outright accused me of being addicted to more than one of my medications, some of which are not prescribed by psychiatrists (so it really wasn't any of her business- not her area of expertise, so she shouldn't have a professional opinion). When I told her that was absolutely untrue and not one of my previous psychiatrists had ever raised that concern with me, she had the gall to lie and say my previous psychiatrist had written this in his notes.
