Slow as molasses...
What disappoints me the most about this practice is their inability to provide adequate care in a timely fashion, so if you need a gastroenterologist then I would definitely recommend you go somewhere else! My family member has been suffering for over 18 months with an intestinal bleed, causing serious other health issues such as severe anemia to point of needing a transfusion. This office can't seem to order procedures or diagnostic testing without calling their staff repeatedly because it seems they are always dropping the ball and not following through. The only time my family member was able to get help was by going to the ER and being admitted on two separate occasions where both times as an inpatient, needed procedures (EGD x2, Colonoscopy, PillCam via EGD, Enteroscopy, & tons of labs) were immediately performed. After blood transfusion, released from hospital with active bleed, told to follow up with GI, & soonest they can make appt is in 3 months! DONE!! Going somewhere else!!
