Lansing Urgent Care

I just moved to this side of the state to help my mom with cancer treatments, so my PCP is over a three hour round trip right now and I haven't found a new PCP. I have chronic GI issues that can affect my kidneys and I need blood work done but I also don't have time to sit in the ER for eight hours being exposed to myriad germs that I could accidentally share with my mother who is fighting cancer. The website said they could do it onsite and the call center confirmed - so I used the morning time I had today waiting to be seen only to be told that they won't do a simple metabolic panel because pretty much the only testing they actually do there is drug testing. So, wasted my time, got exposed to many more germs because they don't enforce any masking at all, and now I'm still sick and have to pull it together to take my mom to radiation. It was more than a bad experience - it was a defeating, deflating, demoralizing experience, and it's made my life harder, not better.
