Nursing staff terrific—caring and empathetic. Psychiatry staff—not so much. My experience with this clinic is very undesirable. Hospital rooms are dirty with vent-filled dust and grime. Beds are unbearably old. Psychiatry staff is negligent in sharing education and how they reach their diagnosis. They are the only institution I’ve had experience with that discusses patient case issues without patient being present. When asked direct questions regarding diagnosis and treatment criteria used, they refuse to reveal this resulting in very poor communication between provider and patient. It’s a very demoralizing experience being cared for by these underpaid providers.
