I have gone to the Royal oak office probably for about 6-8 months. I wanted to get on some form of birth control. The doctor immediately prescribed me with the pills , and proceeded to call me later that day to let me know to call my neurologist because she wasn’t sure how the medications would work together . I decided no pill , I will try the shot. I bled for 4 months straight which is to possibly be expected , cramps were awful , lost way too much weight etc. a completely different doctor suggested the pill again, she showed me a chart that said the pill is actually completely fine with my condition and current medication. This was wrong, the birth control wore of the effects of my seizure meds and I had two seizures because of this. I looked up the medications right on google and it in fact says NOT to take the birth control with my meds. Always double check because she had no clue what she was talking about.
