I have struggled with a number of issues recently that required basic testing and imaging be done. Cadillac Family Practice has unfortunately put me on month long waitlists just to be seen by a PA or an MD, and have directed me to the ER for what should be routine office visit care. When attempting to advocate for myself to receive office care, I received a nasty letter in writing from a PA dismissing my concerns and blaming the patient. I have done everything that I’m supposed to be doing, and been polite to the staff. Switching to a different doc in the system, it still took two weeks to get basic imaging scheduled, referrals never happened, and nursing staff doesn’t return repeated calls. The standard of care has become dangerously bad inside MDI Hospital’s health clinics, including this one. It does not seem the staff is motivated. I feel neglected and I’m sure many other patients are experiencing the same.
