Maryland Brain, Spine and Pain

I’ve had back issues for most of my adult life and constant pain for the last four years. Other doctors would not even discuss surgery because of my age (I’m only 44). Dr. Sullivan and his team listened to me and were willing to explore multiple treatment options. I’m now 3 months out from surgery and I feel like I’m getting my life back. I can dance again, and it’s thanks to Maryland Brain Spine & Pain!

Office messed up information about insurance and I incurred additional medical expenses. Did not like their pain management. Physician assistants ok. One really did not know the effects of meds and I reacted to one RX. Waste of money.

I was running late for an appointment due to unavoidable construction work on the roads. I contacted the office to let them know I would be late. I was told I might have to pay $50.00 fee if I can't keep the appointment. I was put on eternal hold. I hung up. The office manager for the Annapolis location called me back. She stated they would allow me to be late this time, but I have a history of cancellations. I said I cancelled way before 48 hours of the appointment and this was irrelevant to today. She said is was not and they are busy practice and have a hard time filing cancellations. She went on and on berating me for cancellations that have nothing to do with yesterday's appointment. She said she would have to check with the provider to see if he will wait since he had a child to pickup. She said he would if I hurry after putting me on hold. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE. There are many pain management offices that exist so you can avoid being treated unfairly.

I felt tossed around abs not listened too. No matter how much info and details I gave, it seemed no one was listening I went for pain management and help and for 2 years I have been in pain
