The Vascular Care Group - Newton-Wellesley

I've never had an experience quite like the one I had today at the Vascular Care Group of Newton-Wellesley. I had been on a gurney for 2+ hours, with an IV in my arm, waiting for a procedure that had been on the schedule for months. I had been fasting the entire day and had re-scheduled my entire week to make the time to take the day off. My fiance drove me in, and she took significant amounts of time away from her work day. So, with that as the context, after all of that, one of the VCG doctors sent a nurse to inform me that the procedure wouldn't be happening that day after all. They cancelled the procedure... with me in the waiting room with an IV already in my arm. After a series of conversations with nurses and the doctor, it turns out that these cancellations happen somewhat regularly at The Vascular Care Group. Who runs a medical practice like that?!? What a mind-bogglingly inconsiderate way of running a medical practice. You all can do better!
