she was nothing but condescending to me and has a major superiority complex. When working with medical professionals that are taking care of my child, I expect to work in partnership with them to do what’s best for him. This was not the case with her. She treated me and acted as though I were the dumb new mom who didn’t know anything and I must allow her to tell me what’s best for my baby. One of the biggest things that makes me extremely uncomfortable was she retracted the uncircumcised tip. Previous pediatricians, midwives, and google sources all agree that you’re not supposed to do that. I was standing next to her and she started all of a sudden retracting it and I panicked and tried to stop her. Instead of stopping, she kept her hand there and looked at me like I was some crazy mom. She continued to pull it back despite my obvious discomfort and verbally expressing that I’m not sure that’s right. The entire appt she treated me like I’m dumb and she knows what’s best
