LCMC Lakeview Circle, Dr Mary E. HolzerBilling is a joke. My 'wellness visit' was incorrectly coded as a regular doctors appointment. Despite requesting a 'wellness visit' over the phone when scheduling, in office when checking in, and again noted it on my paperwork at check-in as my 'reason for visit'. At no time was I told it would be billed otherwise. After 6+ months of back and forth with their billing department, the issue has still not been corrected. The billing department promises to have 'leadership reach out' numerous times and they do not. They have agreed to re-code the appointment as a wellness visit and resubmit to BCBS and have resent the claim 2-3 times to BCBS - but with the same incorrect code. The billing department seems to exist only to waste your time. I will never visit any LCMC office or hospital again as it is impossible to find someone capable of fixing a simple billing issue.
