The Recovery Center at Porter Starke in Valparaiso is staffed by some of the most qualified, dedicated, and caring individuals I've personally ever seen in the Recovery field. I've been struggling with a 21 year addiction to Opiates. I came to Porter Starke as a last resort and enrolled in the Methadone program. My counselor, Brandy, is the best counselor or therapist that I've ever spoken with. My Recovery Coach, Brittany, has helped me in dealing with triggers and situations as they arise. These ladies understand my addiction and what I've been going through while dealing with it, and have been an incredible source of support for me during this journey. I've never met any professionals like them, who I felt truly cared about me the way that they do; and as a person who has tried numerous methods to get clean in the past, I can say with complete certainty that I couldn't have done this without these people believing in me and being there for me. I'm lucky to have them on my side.
