Doctors do not care about patients

After blood work, the Dr discovered o had a new condition and needed medication. Instead of calling me directly he had a secretary do it, who could not answer any questions. I.e what are the adverse effects, what are possible alternatives, etc. I asked if the Dr could call me to better explain. 'Our Doctors do not talk to patients on the phone'
