Misinformation, no accountability

Went to this facility and wasn't sure if it was covered by my insurance. Checked with the front desk they said $30 copay. Decided to follow through and go for a strep test like I planned. Was told I should get a COVID and flu test. Asked if it would cost anything extra and they said no insurance should cover it. Got the tests, staff was nice and only paid the $30. Two weeks or so late I got a bill for $410 after insurance covered the other $900 from the visit. About $380 of that $410 bill was for the COVID test and lab for it which I DIDN'T even go there for. I was thrown off because I was told it would only cost $30. After months of calling the billing department, the facility and my insurance. I have been told by the higher ups that it is my deductible and I have to pay it. This is ridiculous because their staff told me it wouldn't cost anything and they are refusing to take responsibility. If you go here make sure you question everything. I sadly am stuck with the bill.
