Hi, only great things to say about Dr. Kappil ! I had my first eye Cataract surgery this week and I was amazed how professional and organized everything was. This improved my vision immediately afterwards. No pain or anxiety and all my questions were answered by Dr Kappil and staff so there were no surprises. Actually the coolest surgery I’ve ever had! Been trying to get refund, going on six months. keep saying they need to pass on, will call back, will mail. Nothing

Charged an extra $40 for my written prescription! It's against the law. I filed a complaint with the federal trade commision and it did absolutely nothing. I have been to several different eye doctors and this has never happened. Save youself some money and go to anyone else but WPO.

I've always read reviews with a grain of salt. I try to base my opinions on my personal experiences. In the case of Dr. Kappil, I would have to agree with the negative reviews on different websites. I had a cataract evaluation appointment on Feb 22, 2022 at the Algonquin office. What bothered me most during my visit was Dr. Kappil kept interrupting me before I could finish my questions. Yes, he does not explain things and was very dismissive. His response to many of my questions was "the surgery coordinator would contact me and go over all the details." My feeling is I would like to hear about the procedure from the doctor, not the coordinator. The coordinator is not doing my surgery, the doctor is. He made me feel that I was an inconvenience to his office by being there. He was uninformative and I did not feel he listened to my concerns. He basically "told" me what he was going to do without explaining my options or the benefits of his decision. Again, all my questions were answered

Been a patient for Dr Richards since the mid-90's. My wife - and recently my daughter - also joined me as a patient. We've always been very confident in the treatment we've received, treated very well and never had an issue making an appointment. I am soon to undergo cataract surgery and am confident in Dr Kappil's ability.

Had cataract surgery and now can't get an appointment. I am having trouble with my eye after surgery. Every time I call for an appointment I am told their scheduling page is not working and they will call me back. I waited 3 months finally called them and was told the same thing. I am going somewhere else for help.
