Limited income Medicare patients BEWARE!
I have insurance coverage through Humana/TruHearing that states I have coverage for the set up of bluetooth and integration with hearing aid app.  Provider stated it would be a $25.00 extra charge.  They said there would be no problem giving me a copy of Audiology test. When I asked for a copy of that test (that my insurance had already paid for!) they told me it would cost me $150.00!  I told them I'd like to discontinue relationship, they quoted nearly 1 month to process the refund. I am not sure why a provider that has a contract with an insurance company would refuse to  honor it,   Humana could not fathom it either. Humana interceded!  They arranged my refund within 5 days, Demanded and got a copy of the (already paid for) hearing test for free,  scheduled me with another provider and delivered hearing aids within 2 weeks!! I felt that I had already paid for these services with my Insurance premium AND, my Insurance Provider agreed!  I would avoid this provider!!!
