Avoid this Practice
I feel that it is important to warn other women about this doctor and this practice, as I felt damaged by this experience. I was a new patient seeing Dr. April DeWhite, and was made to wait for over an hour in a cold exam room, completely undressed, in an itchy robe, for a routine pap smear. They completely forgot about me and I had to go into the hallway in my robe twice to ask how much longer the wait would be, and the staff was not helpful at all and kind of rude. When the doctor finally came in, her apology was curt, and in just a couple minutes she had called me nasty and stormed out of the exam room because I complained about the wait time and asked if we could get it done quickly. She sent in a PA instead, and that is not who I was there to see, although in the end I was relieved I wouldn't be getting examined by that doctor, given her behavior. This practice double books its patients, and it seems they care very little about patients but a lot about their bottom line.
