My visit was very unpleasant. A long wait. Uncomfortable setting. The doctor told me that my tonsils were inflamed even though I've had my tonsils removed. The biggest problem was that they sent my lab work for my annual physical exam to an out of network laboratory facility. I received an EOB for $700 that my insurance would not cover. My insurance company said they could not help me dispute the claim because the lab work had already been done. I was only at the doctor's office for an annual physical exam. It was my first and last time visiting. I will not return. I repeatedly told them I only wanted to have things done that would be covered by my insurance as part of my annual physical exam. I'm not sure what happened. My health spending account will not cover this cost.

Georgia Clinic purchased Lavista Family Medicine and I have been a patient there for over 10 years. It is a shame to see that the practice that Dr Tatyana Gorokhov built all her life has turned into this enterprise. I have been a loyal patient for over a decade and was skeptical when takeover happened and after all that happened, will never go back to Georgia Clinic. The first annual visit they incorrectly filed and billed for what should have been a preventative visit with zero cost. The 2nd women wellness visit that they insisted on, they billed separately for “ consultation “ in addition to the exam. I guess you are supposed to stay silent and advise the doctor to stay silent otherwise you will be charged a separate fee. The 3rd visit never happened, only a phone call was made and I was charged $ 200 for a few minutes of talking and basically saying , you should go to a real doctor and we can’t really advise you one way or another. DO NOT go here, you are just a case file for them.
