Surgery Ruined My Life
I am in tears as I write this review. This is my experience. My life will never be the same after a surgery was performed last April. The doctor recommended and then took both of my ovaries for what turned out to be benign cysts. The doctor gave me no other options, such as preserving at least one ovary, or just removing the cyst. He did not talk about the severe symptoms I would be having after the removal of this important organ. Cold sweats, joint pain, and feeling like I have the flu constantly is my life now. I later found out that there is modern medical advice strongly recommending the preservation of ovaries to prevent long-term health issues. I am suffering severe emotional and physical distress that I will have to live with the rest of my life. I want to write this review to warn women everywhere that this can happen. If a doctor tells you your ovaries are no longer working just because you’re over 50, it was not true in my case. Please get a second, third, even 4th opinion.
