Appalling communication
'Our experience at the Sandy Springs location was appalling. The basic level of care was shocking, the communication and responsiveness was non-existent. The doctor we signed up for failed to be transparent about her rules of engagement and wasted out time for almost 6 months before denying us basic care. Run as fast as you can away from here. They will waste your time and provide terrible care. '

Patient support and administrative very poor.
The support and administrative functions at Laureate are unacceptably bad. My physician is great, no complaints there, but getting prescriptions filled, making appointments, etc., are almost impossible. During a recent illness, instead of fitting me in for an appointment with ANYONE, they told me to go to an urgent care facility instead. They seem to be cutting corners by reducing staff to a bare minimum, and patient care has suffered accordingly.

Awesome Docs not worth Staff/Office Frustrations
One of the most frustrating doctors offices I have ever worked with. You can't get an appointment even when you are already established. If you don't like your doctor, you have to complete transfer paper work to see a new doctor and your old doctor you didn't like has to approve it...rather than just making a new appointment with someone new - which finding a doctor you like isn't one and done. Getting refills is a hassle, because it seems like you have to go through fifteen channels beforehand. I have showed up for appointments that were cancelled because the doctor left the practice, with no update about the cancellation. My transfer paperwork just ended with no notification and finding out when I keep getting scheduled with a doctor and office I had a negative experience with. And when you finally find someone, they make it difficult to make appointments. Everything seems like a third party - scheduling, refills, etc. and I am not sure the care is worth all the frustration

Love my doctor…scheduling is impossible
Laureate has switched to a centralized appointment call center. You can not get through to This understaffed call center. I’ve been on hold for over an hour. Beyond frustrating. I love my doctor but this is shameful.

Laureate Medical group will not see patients if the patient is experiencing any COVID like symptoms - regardless if the person has already had COVID or is vaccinated. We are 2 years into the pandemic so you would think the doctor's office would be able to see sick patients. They are only good for an annual physical. I have also been trying to get my medical records for over 6 months; 20+ calls/fax requests to their office and I have still not received them. Highly would NOT recommend.
