Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates - West Peachtree

I would not recommend Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates or United Digestive to anyone. The staff shows little care for their patients, and you’ll find yourself receiving random bills with no clear explanation. When you try to get clarity, no one onsite can help since their billing department is remote. On top of that, the staff gives you attitude as if you’re inconveniencing them. The hold times to speak to someone are extremely long, and despite the prompt saying you’ll receive a call back, that rarely happens.You’ll have to deal with multiple companies and bills that don’t communicate with each other, leading to frequent billing mistakes. In my case, they even tried to deny me my medication due to a payment issue they never communicated. When I asked about it, they claimed it was a new policy and apologized for not informing me, yet still attempted to withhold my medication. Overall, this has been a highly frustrating experience, and I can’t recommend this organization to anyone.

Phone line is impossible. 20 min wait. Then twice disconnected. They looked up my name and account then I was disconnected. Neither time was I called back even though they had the information. This is 1- 866 number. The local number listed on the web do not ring through. Get a message on the first ring that you can be called back for a $2 charge. Owners of the practice take note.

Awful experience, especially when it comes to get a refund for a copay paid that it turns out I wasn't supposed to according to insurance, even provider shows a credit refund yet months later, still waiting on my 250.00 refund. No help from anyone in the office, no interest in helping, just plain thieves.
