I had been a patient at the East Albany Medical Center for several years. Starting last year, the doctors would not call in the medicines for refill that THEY HAD PRESCRIBED ME. For example, it took them 8 months before they would call in the Correct Prescription for a medicine to help with neuropathy. This medicine in one that they had prescribed for me. I needed a refill on insulin; another med that they incorrectly called in. After talking with the nurse, the office staff, the doctor, and final the Office Manager, nothing changed. I tried to be transferred to another Primary care physician within the network. The other doctor accepted me as a patient, called them to get my medical record and later called me and then refused to accept me as a patient. Finally, I left the Phoebe network!!!! If you have an enemy that you hate!! Do not refer them there because after you see how poorly they are treated you will feel bad. It would be curel and unsual punishment!!! Dr. Robin Mann Johnson
