Honestly one of the worst experiences i have ever had. The prep was so harch my i ended up with ulcers in my colon. I had severe abdominal pain after my colonoscopy and NOBODY would call me back. I called the office 3 times and the last person said just go to the ER. I went to the ER where i was told the prep caused ulcers in my colon and said someone from my doctors office would be calling me. NOBODY called me. When i say horrible i mean horrible. From the scheduling, to the prep, to the customer service which is non existent. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Do not use these people. Their office is the most unprofessional group I have ever encountered. For 2 months they have not been able to get clearance from my cardiologist to have a relatively minor procedure done. They fax to the wrong number, I give them the correct one, they still fax to the wrong number. I have called repeatedly to no avail. They do not attempt to call me or the cardiologist office to get the clearance. Finally the afternoon before the procedure is scheduled, they call me with no information. I will get the procedure from a different doctor. What a waste on my time.

I am an established patient with a chronic GI disorder. On the morning of my appointment, which I scheduled two months prior, I was notified that Gastro MD is no longer accepting my health insurance plan provided by Florida Blue Cross and Blue Shield. I, as well as other patients with this insurance, should have received advanced notice from the practice. Advanced notice of insurance non-acceptance should be given to existing patients a minimum of 30 days prior to the appointment time and NOT the morning of the appointment, especially given it takes several months to get on the physician’s schedule. This business practice of essentially patient abandonment at the 12th hour shows a lack of professionalism and blatant disregard for the well-being of their patients. My advice is “patient-beware”.
