Beware
Healthgrades would not accept my previous, accurate review of this provider, so I am trying again. I experienced insults and verbal abuse when I reported a post operative complication and asked to be seen for evaluation of the severe post surgical symptoms. As a critical care nurse, I am very aware of what is normal post op, and what is concerning. My eye that had surgery at this practice is now undergoing surgical repair at another practice. I found their processes and standards lacking.

I was impressed with the efficiency of the staff.
The staff got my records from Illinois which my doctor had promised to send, but did not. I felt that the staff from receptionist to Dr. Allisse were efficient, concerned about me, and pleasant to be with.

Cataracts surgery
My cataract surgery was a failure. I having cloudiness in both eyes since surgery. I need to have reading glasses to read the small print and I can’t drive at night because of the halos around the lights. My eye sight has been compromised to say the least. Since my surgery I have had YAG laser treatment in both eyes and it did not correct my vision. I am very disappointed and frustrated.
