I attended my wife's visit and Dr. Girgis told her to eat nothing with eyes. When she asked what he means by that, his snarkey answer was 'Just what I said, nothing with eyes...' and he rushed out of the room.Wife's PCP NP Megan Roll referred her to Dr. Canals instead, who is in the same group, but Dr. Girgis rude staffer 'Joy' told my wife and later me, that their policy is that the patient isn't allowed to change doctors and I would go to a different group. I asked her to ask Dr. Girgis to make an exception. She asked and the next day, today, said he told her no, and that we would need to find another group if we didn't like that.

I can understand change, most people don't like it , but it's a part of life. Rarely ever write reviews but in this case I had to. When Dr. Wannich retired from the practice, I was assigned to Dr. Haney Girgis. Dr. Girgis has been great for the most part. However, his medical assistant Velma is the rudest, most unprofessional MA I've had my entire life! I am an 20+ year HR professional and I have never recvd such poor service or been mistreated ever! I'm a very patient person, but when you talk over me any time I try to say something, hang up on me over the phone before I can even speak, and yell at me over the phone, it's unfortunate b/c of her she leaves me no other choice but to leave this practice for another. This woman is beyond rude, condescending, tell lies and has no business working in the medical field. Does Dr. Girgis not see how she is? How many complaints is it going to take? Velma should NOT work w the public!

Needed to send medical report to Dr. Hany Girgus .office staff refused to give me email address and cut me off and hung up. My husband has a kidney condition that needs the attention of Dr Girgus and I can’t get thru to him. This ignorant rude staff has put my husbands’ health at risk and cut off all correspondence with the doctor.

I should have googled this office before I scheduled my husband into their care. The office women named Joy and Nelva are beyond rude and unprofessional. I could write a lengthy review on every detail of my horrible experience dealing with these women but they aren't worth anymore stress or my time. If you call their office you can hear the attitude and annoyance already in Joy's voice. I can never understand why people choose to work in healthcare if they can so easily be disrespectful and inconsiderate of their patient's and their families concerns and issues. IT"S YOUR JOB!! On top of all my stress, I now have to find another Nephrologist for my husband's kidney failure. To Dr. Girgis, if you are reading this I tried to contact you to report these women but they never gave me your direct contact information. I will highly recommend to monitor Joy and Nelva to see how many other patient's of yours they have treated poorly. They are mean and rude women representing your practice.
