Steward Endocrinology Specialists Fort Lauderdale

Usually I am someone who have a lot of patience but I am deeply disappointed in this hospital. After being very excited for my first child to be born, I had to face a dirty waiting room for 9 hours. You can see the hospital is dirty by just walking through the halls, not to mention the old blood spot of a previous patient on the floor of our room. My wife went to get blood tests done a day before and the nurse (Evelyn) tried three times to find her veins and said "I don't know what's going on?" . This was the first red flag. After that we brushed it off and went the next day just to be pushed into a room and when we asked for an extra blanket we were simply ignored for 2 hours. The nurses said it is because they have an emergency but at the same time there are two nurses laughing loud and making jokes. I used towels on my wife to keep her warm The only silver lining were the people in the OR, especially Anette (New Zealand Nurse) that did an amazing job in keeping us calm and happy
