FABEN Obstetrics & Gynecology

Called on Monday afternoon to schedule a papsmear, they had an appointment the next morning so I scheduled it. Woke up to my dog puking and pooping blood all over the house and an emergency vet appointment was needed. There was no way I could make a 9am appointment and called to reschedule. Was told that I would be charged $50 for not giving 24 hours notice. I hadn't even had the appointment for 24 hours so that is a ridiculous statement. They said I am being charged because I canceled an another appointment in 2022....2 years ago. I really enjoyed this dr but not this practice. I understand that people are flaky and don't show up for appointments however there is also something called common courtesy for those of us who are legitimately dealing with a crisis. I've got a $250 vet bill from yesterday and now another bill for nothing. Thanks Faben!!

Every year when I am driving for my annual GYN exam I ask myself why am I driving this far? Surely there is someone closer I can see. After the exam I know why. Dr. Caccem is great-very personable, professional, on time, and cares about me the patient. She goes out of her way to make sure you are receiving the medication or services you need.The office is very efficient and pleasant to be in. All of the staff is pleasant.

I enjoyed my visit to Fabian up OB/GYN I really enjoy the staff and all of the of the front line personnel are friendly and make you feel welcome Dr. Felicia Fox is awesome and very sorrow I would recommend this practice to any one who is looking for a gynecologist

I felt very comfortable here and I’ll recommend to all my lady friends. Beautiful office too!

My appointment was at 9:45a & I got there at 9:30a. I waited for 1hr 10min in the back room for the doc just to have a 4min conversation about refilling my meds. This was unacceptable.

If I could give this office zero Stars I would I was going to them to receive an IUD removal and an IUD reinsertion the doctor helping me thought it would be the best practice to have me do an ultrasound as well when I called to confirm that there would be no cost for these things I was informed that there was in fact a $200 charge for my ultrasound. When I called to find out how we could remove this charge I was given then runaround by everyone in this office. Instead of them taking care of the patient first and worry about the money separately they just kept saying there is nothing we can do. I was even transferred to the CEO Brian Thorpe, who laughed at me and my concerns. Said he works for the partners and it's their policy. So just be warned people if you go here and actually need help unless your insurance pays for it the office here is not here to help. Hopefully I can find a good office to take care of me.

Very professional and great use of technology for check in and record access. Beautiful office location and clean, luxurious rooms and robes. Makes the whole experience pleasant.

Everyone was polite and appointment was on time. DrPorter spent time with me and answered all my questions. Lexi was pleasant when scheduling. Overall nice group of people.

I really like Dr. Fox however the follow up with the physical therapist did not happen. I had to call Dr Fox’s office to get the referral information and still haven’t heard back. Maybe they need to rethink who they are referring.

Staff was friendly and efficient. Scheduled appointment time was timely. Doctor Caccam was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable.

I recently moved to the Jacksonville area and was fortunate enough to find FABEN OBGYN. I went in for my first visit with FABEN and had Danielle Key as my doctor. She made me feel so comfortable and addressed all my questions and concerns. She also made sure to chat with me throughout my exam to make it go by as quickly as possible. I have never felt so comfortable at an OBGYN. In the past, I have always changed OBGYN practices. This is the first time I've ever felt 100% about a doctors office especially OBGYN. They are professional, on time, and again, make you feel very very comfortable. Highly recommended this practice and Danielle Key!

Don't care about patient care, only money. Be warned.

I am always nervous when it comes to my gyn appointments due some family history of illnesses, but they always make me feel very comfortable and they don't hesitate to offer testing so I have peace of mind about my health.

The ladies here are all very inviting and pleasant. It was my first time and I was very impressed by the lobby, offices and staff. The trail mix was the cherry on top! I'm looking forward to my future appointments with Dr. Caldow and learning more about my baby.

The Staff, Doctors, and Nurses are amazing. Dr Portor is the best! The perfect combination of Caring and informative.

I have been a patient here for 16 years. My initial reason for coming to this practice was because I wanted to make sure that I saw a woman. I have been seen by all of the ladies at this practice and not one of them has disappointed me yet. From the delivery of the now 16 year old son to the major and minor surgeries that I have had with this office I have received good old TLC. I would not trust my healthcare with anyone else.

I have been a patient here at FABEN for over 7 years now and I have to say the providers are the best! I usually see Dr Caccam however I’ve seen all of the providers as well as the nurse practitioners and they are all amazing. They take the time to listen to you and your concerns and genuinely care. The medical assistants are also very nice and helpful. Having to have an ultrasound added on to my visit went very smooth, they were able to get me in without a long wait. I highly recommend FABEN for all your OB/GYN needs.

If I could give FABEN negative stars, I would. When I first chose this practice, I was sucked in by the ~*feminist*~ vibe of the all female staff and by the modern office style, but once I became an OB patient I started to see through the facade. I have never felt more broken down than I did during my appointments at FABEN, I’m not a crier and yet more than once I left that office sobbing. If you want to be gaslit and degraded, this is the perfect OBGYN for you. I ended up being dismissed as a patient because I wouldn’t concede to their “one size fits all” care approach. I am so grateful that I didn’t end up delivering my baby with them and that I found a new care provider who listened to me and made me feel safe. Pregnancy is supposed to be a joyous time and FABEN stole the joy out of most of my experience. Avoid this practice at all costs, seriously.
