Recently I had an appt. with Hanh Nguyen.When I made the appt. I requested a someone to treat multiple medical conditions for a senior citizen (Type 2 diabetes, an under-active thyroid & high blood pressure (hbp). I was placed with a nurse practitioner with only 18 mos. of experience. The office was given lab results which showed that the current thyroid medicine was in need of upward adjustment. Nguyen requested a new lab work which I completed the same day. The new results indicated the need to increase the dosage. Nguyen informed me on the phone that she needed to see me every 2 wks. for 2 mos. & have blood work every 2 wks. Nguyen explained that “she needed to do so because she did not know me.” I went to another office which adjusted the meds based on a single new set of lab test within one wk. What is especially disturbing about the interaction was Nguyen screaming at me because I refused to come back every 2 wks. for 2 mos. This episode did not help my hbp.
