I tried to make an appt to see Dr. Brownell for myself, my daughter and my mother. The receptionist did not return my email requests or voicemails. It took numerous attempts to get an appt booked. I only persisted at that point because I had gift cards to use. Please not that this facility also inappropriately added sales tax to the gift certificates. For those of you who aren't aware, according to the CT State Dept of Revenue services, gift certificates are not subject to sales tax.Once we arrived at the appt, the receptionist did not properly schedule the service my daughter was looking for so there was no time after a one hour drive!When checking out, I paid with my credit card for me and my daughter. Neither, me, my Mom or my daughter were given a receipt. She said she would email them but did not so when we got home that day, we all contacted the receptionist and asked for our receipts. The receptionist then told me my credit card charge didn't go through (even though it did).
