The Doctors and staff are very professional and friendly

Waited for doctors for two hours. It was supposed to be a complete eye exam. They forgot about me as I was a new patient of his but not practice. He ran out of time. Told me he can't do it and pretending that is not what the appt was for. When they office staff needed to schedule a come back. They we're aggressive sogj me and annoyed. Saying they had no spot. It was awful. The patients time is never important. Plus need to go through it all again.

I received a full examine and determination of my needs for a new prescription. The person at the front desk was very helpful, and I enjoyed my interaction. My Dr. was fantastic and explained everything beautifully. I fully recommend this practice and will tell all of my friends!

Receptionist welcoming and professional. Technicians great attention to detail. Doctors were knowledgeable, gave excellent information, were able to answer questions at the appointment and called me back when I had further questions. I felt totally confident in their care.

Straightforward exam, efficient

Upside: easy parking, friendly reception staff, modest wait times, comprehensive examination performed professionally by paraprofessionals and physician.Downside: as a 1st time, new patient there was no advanced explication of what to expect or the time required to do it and paraprofessionals reluctant to answer questions about purpose of machine testing (understood that test results can not be discussed).

Efficient and quick service

The front desk staff, both pre and post visit were extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and excellent communicators. The Technician Bryan was equally knowledgeable, friendly and had great communication skills. Dr. Geffen was his usual self, highly skilled, confident and just a very nice individual. He and his team are reasons we continue to use The Eye Care Group. Overall, I rank this entire group a 9.9 out of 10.

The doctor, Dr. Brandon, was polite and efficient. I felt comfortable and when I asked him to write me a prescription for wearing glasses full time rather than just for reading, he was very accommodating.

Dr. Rose was my physician for years. When he left to care for his family he recommended Dr. Doa. She is lovely and thorough and very supportive. She's also a good listener and decisions are made together.The staff is wonderful and their offices in Orange are welcoming and very comfortable. I highly recommend this practice.

Long waiting times. Visiting 7 different offices. Unexpected need to travel to Orange. I thought I was signing up for a Branford office.

I had my 1st visit to The Eye Care Group in their Orange, CT office. To a person, everyone was caring, compassionate and thorough in performing tests, exams, and assessments, which I appreciate being a healthcare provider myself. I had a neuro-ophthamology consult with Dr. Rudige for vision issues related to a new neurological diagnosis that has rocked my world. I was impressed with Dr. Rudige's depth of awareness of my personal disease trajectory and my current treatments. This meant she had familiarized herself with my case before I arrived. I can assure you that this is not always the case. Every person, physician to technician, took the time to explain what they saw, what their findings were, and why they mattered. At the conclusion of my consultation visit, all my options were explained to me, prioritized, and recommendations pro and con were discussed.Before leaving the office she made sure that all my other care providers were listed so they would get her report. The eye technician Baron was wonderful, kind and sweet! Dr Silbert was as well, very thorough and took the time to talk . A very pleasant atmosphere all around!
