Worth the road trip
I have to travel for most of my specialized medical care. As my local surgeon moved away and my GI issues require specialized care, I'm pleased I was referred to GJG. The 125-mile road trip is worth it. Dr. Brett Prosser and the team at the facility are professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable.

Colonoscopy
I had a screening colonoscopy and while the prep is never fun, the actual procedure was a breeze. It was on time, the staff was friendly and competent and the doctor did a good job. Had the report and pictures in hand before discharge.

Way easier than expected!
As a 46 year-old guy, definitely had some apprehensions about my first colonoscopy. They definitely made it easy and comfortable. I was in and out quick. The prep is definitely not awesome, but not as bad as some people make it out to be. You definitely feel nice and lean when finished.

can never reach anyone in the office
The office is an answering machine only and they will call you back sometime...but it may be a while. The doctor and nursing staff did a great job. The low score is the office and lack of communication and poor directions

Smooth Outcome
I reached the age where a colonoscopy was needed. GJ Gastro was a 1.5 hour drive, but they actually returned my calls, unlike my local provider in GWS. I was asleep before I knew it, and then I woke up and it was over. I don't think I can ever drink Gatorade again.

Thorough and kind Gastro PA
I am so grateful for PA Meagan Taylor. She is extremely thorough, very knowledgeable, kind, and truly listens. It's easy to get ahold of the staff through the portal or via phone. They even tackled getting my previous health records from another health system that is notorious for being a pain to get records from. Definitely recommend!

Unable to contact staff for follow up question!
After my initial appointment I had a question about a follow up procedure. I called twice over a 2 week period and left a message both times. I have not received a phone call. I can not talk to any of the staff because of the messaging system’s automated recordings! So frustrating and disappointing!
