I’ve been seeing Dr. Hanna for a couple months now after being referred by a friend who has loved her for years. This is my first time seeing a psychiatrist and I was really interested in finding somebody who knew what they were doing and would tell me bluntly what I needed to do. Coming into the office, and having phone visits I’ve really enjoyed what she has done for me. On my first appointment she was a little late getting to me but when I got in, I understood why. She doesn’t want to rush patients in and out of the office. I’ve been to psychs with family members and somewhat work in the field. My experience has been that most psychs will get you in and out in 10-15 minutes so that they can prescribe meds then bill. Dr. Hanna really wanted to understand me and spent quite a bit of time asking me questions and giving answers. She is really blunt, but that is what I’m paying her for.
