Joshua Medical Group billed fraudulent charges to my health insurance company and left me stuck with a bill for services not received.

I’ve had several encounters, of an uncomplicated nature with this medical group. I find this practice to be inconsistent in service delivery, inefficient and disorganized. History: I’ve been on the same Thyroid meds for 38 years, without problems. My previous MD, now retired, checked thyroid functions and authorized Rx every 6 months. Joshua Medical Group insists I see them every 3 months for all maintenance Rx refills- including meds that require no lab tests. I make the appointment and suggest getting lab tests prior to my office visit so that results are available at time of visit. Medical office declines my request. Appointment day, I’m kept waiting for 45 minutes, charged my co-pay, only to be told I must have lab work done prior to refills. Fast forward several weeks- Lab work complete, I must make another appointment, another co-pay, to “go over” the lab results prior to getting refills. Meanwhile, the 4 other, non-thyroid prescriptions have been held back pending appt.
