My horrible experience & damage
Don’t go to this place. I had my prostate removed by Dr. Ilbeigi in what was supposed to be a routine surgery but instead I was left impotent and unable to control my urination. In addition, I had problems with scar tissue growth that blocked my ability to pee and caused me to go to ER 4 times, and each visit feeling that death would have been better than the pain of bursting. Dr. Mirzaee could not come up with a solution to this, finally advising me to self catheterize daily to inhibit the scar tissue regrowth. Ridiculous advice so I left and went to UCSD Urology. It was akin to leaving a kindergarten class for college. I went into surgery and they knew exactly what to do to inhibit scar regrowth. I had to have additional surgery for insertion of an artificial sphincter so I could finally get out of diapers. I will have to have more surgery for the impotence issue. Had I read the reviews of Valley Urology prior to surgery, I would have never gone there. You have now been warned!

Poor communications skills of staff
the staff does not answer the phone or return voice mails. My paperwork sat on a desk for over a week before I discovered it had not been signed by the doctor and had to go down there in person because they do not answer the phone.

Terrible office staff.
Dr is good, office staff is rude and unprofessional. 30 minute phone holds, incorrect billing, generally gruff. Patients deserve better.

Horrible Office!!!
Ridiculous. Cannot help with anything even urological! Dr who put in nephrostomy tube in hospital has refused to check it stating they don't do them, yet they put it in! then when it became dislodged, they still won't do anything just refer to ER!!!

Worse Urology Department Around
This place is the most disorganize medical office that I have ever been to. They say they will do something right away, such as send orders over for an MRI - and it took them over three weeks. They claim things are pre authorized by insurance, and it turns out it isn’t. They also do unnecessary tests that I’m sure is simply to charge insurance companies or Medicare for additional services. If you go to the office with an appointment, expect a 1-2 hour wait. They are never on time, and what is worse - no one cares. You say something to them and they act as if you are at fault. To say the least, this place is a complete and utter disaster. Maybe the doctors are alright, but the office staff, nurses, and others are terrible. They are lazy and could care less about their patients. Never go to these people.

FRONT OFFICE IS THE WORST!
I was referred here by my primary DR. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. Several calls dropped after between 4-7 minutes on hold, never even got a live person. I have left many voicemails over a two week period to no avail! If you leave a message, they WILL NOT call you back! Also, their online patient portal is useless as they don't respond. Oh, and be prepared, there is a $2.00 service fee to pay by credit card. They don't take checks, and if you try to pay in cash, you must have exact change! I am surprised that this is a functioning business as the customer service is atrocious. I am sure the doctor is competent but I am not so sure I know how to get that far!

During the first visit, Dr. Bargman asked me about my symptoms and proceeded to write a prescription for antibiotics. He did not perform any type of physical examination whatsoever. The amount of time Dr Bargman spent with me was less than 5 minutes. When it did not get better, I saw Dr. Bargman again and he said there was "nothing else he can do for me". I made an appointment at Eisenhower and the Eisenhower urologist performed three different physical examinations, non of which were performed by Dr Bargman. The Eisenhower doctor spent 15 minutes with me. He was not in a rush like Dr Bargman and he took his time talking with me and we had a very good discussion and he suggested I come back in a year. I went home and tried the additional medication AND the over-the-counter supplement, and two weeks later, I am feeling terrific. My prostatitis symptoms are gone and I am feeling great for the first time in six months. Dr Bargman’s services were, to say the least, inadequate.
