I showed up on time for my 9:00am appointment that should have taken 10-15 minutes. The office wasn't even open and no one was answering the phone, so I was forced to wait in the hall. When they opened the door at 9:15, they acted as though they were surprised to see me. They took me in and I waited in the exam room until 9:40, when I finally popped my head out to ask how much longer it would be. They were very rude and told me that the doctor wasn't even in yet! No apology, no explanation. At that point, I was already running behind schedule because of this delay, so I decided to leave. I don't understand why this happened, but more importantly, why all the rudeness and attitude, as if this were somehow my fault? Normally, I have the utmost respect for healthcare workers, but these people clearly hate their jobs and have no interest in helping people.
