Sonoran Ear Nose and Throat

I saw Dr. Kang at Sonoran Ear Nose & Throat as a new patient. I paid my $65 copay at my appointment. Although my issue was chronic tension headaches, a hearing test was conducted as part of my appointment. What Sonoran ENT's staff failed to disclose to me was that the hearing test wound be conducted by another doctor in the practice which would incur a separate charge to my health insurance and another copay for me. I did not request a hearing test nor did I want one. I certainly did not want to incur charges for unnecessary medical testing. It is a decidedly deceptive practice not to inform patients of all costs incurred prior to a scheduled appointment. Sonoran ENT staff deliberately withheld the information from me. Consumers of healthcare services should have the opportunity to make informed choices. This patient won't be returning.
