Mesquite Gastroenterology and Surgery Center

Horrible, horrible customer service! Used community care through the VA since they are booked up (Va). Mesquite gastroenterologist scheduled me for a consultation which took 5 minutes. Why even go there? Scheduled a procedure for January 31. This office refuses to return phone calls or emails. When you attempt to call, to voicemail it goes every time! No return calls whatsoever! This was a question about medication to be taken.I should have read their reviews prior to making an appointment. Same issues with other patients. Please check reviews before choosing a doctor that is closest to you. I can’t say anymore about this situation since they don’t bother to reach out at all. As of today, I canceled this procedure and am looking to reschedule somewhere else.If possible , they would get 0 star review. HORRIBLE service and from doctors no less!

The doctor took the time to look me in the eyes and explain what could or could not be the issue. Before and after my procedure, Dr Arenas was so compassionate and you don't find that anymore. Also, his medical assistant Alicia was very kind and respectful.
