I am a general internal medicine physician practicing adult primary care and have been practicing for almost two decades. I enjoy being able to work in science while helping others. My special interests include management of cardiovascular disease and cardiac risk factors including hypertension, diabetes, smoking cessation and hyperlipidemia. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, hunting, bicycling and cross-country skiing.

I am a med-peds doctor, meaning I trained to be a specialist for both kids and adults. I enjoy being able to provide care for patients of all ages and their families! I strive to incorporate the non-medical components that contribute to health and wellness, like nutrition, physical activity, mindfulness, work, stress and friends and family, into my practice.

I practice general outpatient internal medicine. This means that I treat adults with nonsurgical health concerns. I enjoy getting to know people over time as I help them stay up to date on preventive medicine, control any medical problems that they have, and treat any illnesses that they develop. I have experience working as a doctor in Illinois, where I focused a lot on managing high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol and depression. My favorite part of being a doctor is getting to know people as unique individuals and working together to help them achieve their goals.
