She then went across the DFW metroplex to the University of Texas Southwestern for Medical School. She then began her career at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas as a resident physician in obstetrics and gynecology. After she graduated from residency, she joined Women's Health Alliance.Dr. McCants is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated from the University of Missouri summa cum laude and then moved to Dallas to attend UT Southwestern for medical school. She stayed in Dallas for residency at Parkland Hospital, one of the highest volume obstetric hospitals in the nation. She served as chief resident and won several teaching awards from the medical students and residents. In her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to audiobooks, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and the two best boys in the whole world.

Dr. Joy Peveto is a Dallas area native, born and raised in Irving, Texas. She decided to be a doctor at eight years old. She therefore received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, graduating magna cum laude and then returned to the Metroplex where she received her Medical Degree from UT Southwestern Medical School. After graduation, she ventured across town for residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr Peveto is an active Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Southwest Gynecology Assembly, Texas Medical Association, and Dallas County Medical Society.Dr. Peveto is passionate about women's health throughout all phases of life, from puberty to menopause with a particular interest in inclusive and equitable care.
