Dr. Oluoha trained in general internal medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL, and went to work as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College. During his time at Meharry, he received the Faculty Award for Excellence in Patient Care, awarded to physicians who go above and beyond best practices to deliver extraordinary care. He was also recognized by residents for superior teaching skills, winning the Outstanding Teaching Award. To pursue his passion for Oncology, he subsequently completed fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
