She was awarded one of the Exceptional Women in Medicine 2019-2020. In 2019, she received the Notable Women in Healthcare Award by Crain's New York Business. Dr. Galatz received the 2014 Kappa Delta Ann Doner Award along with her colleagues for research on the natural history of rotator cuff disease. In 2007, she was a European Shoulder and ElbowTraveling Fellow, sponsored by American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and was an American British Canadian Traveling Fellow in 2009.Dr. Galatz serves on the Executive Committee of the Mount Sinai Faculty Practice. She is Chair of the Contracts Committee of the Faculty Practice, and is on the Board the Mount Sinai IPA.
