Hi , My name is Terry Hamilton and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire & Vermont. My experience varies although I have the most experience working with post traumatic stress/trauma, anxiety, depression, military and family and attachment issues. I believe in whole health through integrating a person-centered, approach to connect clients to their internal and external resources. I have been trained in DBT, Brainspotting, Prolonged Exposure and Psychodynamic therapy. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor . Additionally, I have completed many more hours of continuing education on trauma, anxiety, and complimentary practices. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My availability is mostly afternoon/evening and some weekend hours. In coping with attention deficit problems, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, personality disorders and other mental health difficulties, the emotional pain we endure as the result of these difficulties can be devastating.
