I am a family practice nurse practitioner currently practicing in the Shakopee area. I love working with patients of all ages and have been privileged to provide care to multigenerational families. I enjoy the variety of family practice, but I'm particularly passionate about mental health, women's health and chronic disease management. I believe in partnering with my patients to create a plan of care that fits with their beliefs and lifestyle.

Each patient is unique and deserves the best care, positive health care experiences and optimal wellness. My practice provides virtual primary care, and I address acute and chronic illnesses in partnership with patients and their primary care providers. I am most passionate about sharing preventive health and wellness strategies with patients. By forming long-term, trust-based relationships with patients, it's possible to help them achieve optimal health. I provide virtual care through phone and video visits to patients but am not available for new patients to establish care with as a primary care clinician.

I enjoy working in family medicine for the diversity it brings: seeing people young and old, caring for acute and chronic illnesses, and counseling on preventive medicine recommendations. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, running and playing volleyball.

I enjoy all aspects of family medicine, but have special interests in patient education, women's health issues, weight loss, mental health and colposcopy.
