Dr. Springer received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. He went on to the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, NJ, where he received his medical degree. He then returned to New Hampshire to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. After a move out west, Dr. Springer completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Colorado in Denver, CO. Dr. Springer is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine in Irvine, CA. Dr. Madrid completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico, VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM, and finished his fellowship in Gastroenterology from the same school. Dr. Madrid has won many awards and honors including Honors in Surgery from the University of California and the UCI College of Medicine Service Award. Dr. Madrid is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and is a Board Member of the Crohn?s and Colitis Foundation of America, Rocky Mountain Chapter. Dr. Madrid is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Patt pursued his undergraduate degree at Cornell University. He then attended The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He did his residency training at Boston Medical Center and then stayed an extra year to serve as Chief Medical Resident. He then went to Johns Hopkins Hospital to do his fellowship in gastroenterology. At Johns Hopkins Dr. Patt was awarded the Schering Plough / American Association for the Study of Liver Disease advanced hepatology fellowship, which enabled him to pursue subspecialty training in liver disease and liver transplantation. His areas of special interests include liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. He is currently on the board of the Crohn's and Colitis foundation. He has served as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine and is currently the Chairman of the Division of Gastroenterology at Sky Ridge Medical Center.

Dr. Matthew Nichols obtained his undergraduate degree at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and went on to receive his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he graduated with honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. He then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After conducting a year of hepatology research, Dr. Nichols continued his training as a Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellow at the University of Colorado, where he served as Chief Fellow in 2006. His areas of special interest include the management of inflammatory bowel diseases and esophageal disorders. Dr. Nichols is the primary investigator for a number of research studies focusing on new therapies for ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Dr. Nichols is actively involved in the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), and has been the physician sponsor for the south metro CCFA support group since 2007. Dr. Nichols is the medical director of Ridge View Endoscopy Center.
