I began my dietetic career in long-term care and transitioned to working with adults receiving dialysis. My experience in dialysis gave me great practice for individualizing patients' goals, breaking down lab values, and discussing how food can affect our health. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children and close group of friends. Being social can be a challenge for me, I am a homebody and prefer to stay in my little bubble. I very recently started playing Pokemon Go, it helps me get outside and be social. The last four years have been particularly demanding, I am hopeful that starting my own practice will give me flexibility in my schedule and allow me the space to expand professionally.
