Nicolas Villa, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist on the team at Pioneer GI Clinic. He is dedicated to providing exceptional services to help restore a better quality of life to patients in Anchorage, Alaska.Dr. Villa completed his residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and received the McIntosh Award (given to the top resident). He went on to complete an advanced GI fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Villa sat on the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) Quality Committee for a three-year term from 2015-2018.
