Dr. Wing Chan, DDS

i had an infection ( it happened in 2 molars, on different times) i was told to go to a specialist and Dr. Chan was able to do the retreatments; as soon as i needed, nice experience.

This was my second root canal with Dr Chan over the past 2+ years. Both experiences in his office were excellent. The front desk was very helpful, his 2 assistants very kind and considerate, and Dr Chan was professional, kind and caring. He took time to explain everything and talk me through the process. I was offered headphones to listen to music and be distracted during the procedure, such a great idea. After the first experience 2 years ago, I knew I would go back to Dr Chan if I ever needed another root canal done. He is excellent and I would highly recommend him/his practice to anyone.

Worst front office and staff, as well as Dr Chan, except for one nurse. Walked out without proceeding with root canal appointment for my father, after poor front office handling of xrays needed from referring dentist, this was not disclosed at time of appointment. It was clear the attitude starts at the top with Dr Chan, despite his claim of concern for the patient, his main focus was increasing his bank balance, as he informed us that was doing well making 2 million a year as we walked out.

I can't speak highly enough of this practice. I was referred to them for a root canal after being in pain for 4 days; they got me in the same day, and actually within a couple hours of the referring dentist's phone call. Everyone was professional and friendly. Dr Chan is very professional and caring. I couldn't disagree more with the reviews that he projects an uncaring attitude. I like him a lot. He's not overly talkative, but you can tell that he truly cares about the treatment being successful. He's very focused and thorough. My retreatment went very smoothly while under his care.

The doctor is professional (although not very personable) and obviously experienced, but I was concerned that he rendered a treatment decision too quickly despite having met me less than 5 minutes before doing so. Additionally, one of his assistants seemed to not know why I was there (which was a bit unnerving. They should've gotten on the same page before bringing me back for my procedure). Also his office manager, Michelle is extremely rude and discourteous. I would not recommend this office
