If he had only referred me to an oral surgeon when it turned out I needed corrective surgery (and requested a referral), I could have avoided spending over $1500 on dental work in his office that ended up in the garbage. Instead, I ended up with further injury due to delayed diagnosis and treatment (about a 6 month delay). He did not take my severe pain seriously enough and seemed more concerned with my teeth's appearance than my pain.
I will say that he is not the dentist who caused my original injuries. The work he did was cosmetically beautiful, he has a very gentle touch, and the staff if also very well trained for people who may have dental office anxieties.
I would recommend everyone read the board actions of any doctor or dentist.

I am a retired Dentist. I consider myself eminently qualified to evaluate the quality of dentistry, especially when being performed on me. I use Dr Suway and highly recommend him

The office staff told me they accepted my dental insurance after asking them to verify with my insurance company. What they chose not to tell me was that they are an out-of-network provider which left me a $103.00 balance. If given the full information from the office staff, I would have not gone to Dr. Suway. An in-network provider covers 100% of preventative services. Why would I choose to have dental insurance and still pay for a routine service??? Unprofessional!!

Dr Suway is the only TMJ specialist that I trust. I've been to several and in my opinion Dr. Suway is the best! You will certainly will not be disappointed :D
